DEVELOPMENT OF PROJECT-BASED MODULES INTEGRATED WITH BARCODES TO IMPROVE STUDENT UNDERSTANDING OF HIGH SCHOOL BUSINESS ENTITY MATERIAL
Abstract
Strengthening students’ understanding of economic concepts requires an innovative and contextualized learning approach. This article discusses the development of a project-based learning module integrated with QR Code on Business Entity material for grade XI high school students. The module encourages active student engagement through project activities that stimulate critical and collaborative thinking. The QR Code integration links to digital learning resources, such as explanatory videos and interactive exercises, which enrich the learning experience. The literature review shows that a project-based approach and digital utilization can increase students’ motivation and understanding of economic material. The development of this module refers to instructional design principles that are adaptive to the needs of 21st-century learners. Hopefully, this module can be an effective alternative teaching material in improving students’ understanding of concepts and 21st-century skills at the high school level.
