IMPLEMENTASI ASESMEN AUTENTIK DIGITAL PADA KURIKULUM MERDEKA DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum introduces a paradigm shift in assessment, moving from a focus on cognitive achievement toward a more holistic and contextual evaluation through authentic assessment. Alongside the advancement of digital technology, elementary school teachers are encouraged to integrate digital tools into the assessment process to enhance efficiency, interactivity, and systematic documentation. This study aims to describe the implementation of digital authentic assessment within the Merdeka Curriculum at the elementary level, covering its forms, strategies, challenges, and possible solutions. A qualitative descriptive method was employed through library research, analyzing scientific journals, government regulations, and books on learning assessment published between 2015 and 2025. The findings indicate that digital authentic assessment can be realized through online diagnostic tests, interactive formative quizzes, digital portfolios, and performance assessments documented via photos and videos. Its application provides benefits such as time efficiency, increased student engagement, and more comprehensive learning-progress data. Nevertheless, challenges remain, including limited digital literacy among teachers, inadequate technological infrastructure in certain regions, and restricted teacher time for digital documentation. Solutions include continuous training through the Merdeka Mengajar Platform, blended strategies combining manual and digital assessment, and policy support from schools and local governments in providing technological facilities. Thus, digital authentic assessment is a relevant innovation to support the successful implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in elementary schools.
