Abstract

This study aims to examine the quality of Natural Science (IPA) education in elementary schools. The main focus of this study is to assess various factors that influence the quality of science learning, such as the curriculum applied, teaching methods used by teachers, and student learning outcomes. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation in several elementary schools. The results of the study indicate that although the science curriculum applied is in accordance with the standards, there are still challenges in terms of implementing effective learning methods and optimal classroom management. In addition, the use of learning media and practical experiments in several schools is still limited. It is hoped that the results of this study can provide recommendations to improve the quality of science education in elementary schools to make it more interesting and effective for students.
