MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN BERBICARA SISWA DENGAN MENERAPAN METODE STORYTELLING DI SD NEGERI 4 SANGIA WAMBULU
Abstract
This study aims to improve students' speaking skills and help fourth grade students of Sangia Wambulu Elementary School. This study uses Storytelling. This type of research is classroom action research which is carried out in 2 cycles consisting of initial activities, core activities, and final activities. Data collection techniques use observation, field notes, and documentation. Data analysis uses qualitative and quantitative. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in speaking skills through storytelling that in the first cycle of action, 78% of 22 students completed it. and in cycle II 89.3% with a very good category. This means that learning in cycle II has met the indicators of success so that it can be concluded that improving learning with storytelling can improve students' speaking skills in Indonesian language subjects in fourth grade of Sangia Wambulu Elementary School 4.
