Abstract

Evaluation is one of the most important components in the learning process at the elementary school level. This study aims to examine the importance of the evaluation process in learning at elementary schools and its impact on improving the quality of education. The method used is a literature study by reviewing various relevant sources related to evaluation in education. The results show that evaluation plays a crucial role in measuring students' understanding, identifying learning difficulties, and helping teachers improve teaching strategies. Good evaluation also contributes to student motivation and the achievement of learning objectives optimally. It is concluded that the evaluation process is not merely an administrative activity but is an integral part of learning that must be carried out consistently and comprehensively
