Abstract

Social media has become an integral part of students' lives in the digital era. Its presence brings positive impacts, such as ease of communication, access to information, and the development of social networks. However, social media also gives rise to negative effects, including reduced face-to-face interaction, the emergence of individualistic behavior, and potential conflicts among students. This article aims to analyze how social media influences students' social relationships at school, considering both positive and negative aspects. Employing a descriptive-analytical approach, the paper highlights changes in communication patterns and social interactions, as well as the implications for student character development.
