Pengaruh Konseling Kelompok CBT Dengan Teknik Self-Monitoring Untuk Mengurangi Impulsive Buying Pada Siswa SMP

Abstract

Fenomena impulsive buying pada siswa sekolah menengah pertama semakin meningkat akibat paparan media sosial dan pengaruh teman sebaya yang mendorong pembelian spontan tanpa pertimbangan rasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh teknik self-monitoring dalam konseling kelompok Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) terhadap perilaku impulsive buying pada siswa SMP.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi-eksperimen dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest. Subjek penelitian berjumlah lima siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 12 Kota Bengkulu yang memiliki tingkat impulsive buying tinggi dan dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala impulsive buying yang dikembangkan oleh Rook dan Fisher (1995) dengan reliabilitas α = 0.88. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Paired Sample t-test dengan bantuan SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya penurunan signifikan skor impulsive buying setelah intervensi, dari rata-rata 37.00 pada pretest menjadi 19.00 pada posttest, dengan selisih 18.00 poin. Uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan (t = 5.779; df = 4; p = 0.004; p < 0.05).Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa konseling kelompok CBT dengan teknik self-monitoring efektif dalam mengurangi perilaku impulsive buying serta membantu siswa meningkatkan kesadaran diri, pengendalian diri, dan pengambilan keputusan yang lebih rasional dalam situasi konsumsi.
