Korelasi Dukungan Keluarga Dan Keterlibatan Orangtua Dengan Perilaku Ketidakhadiran Siswa

Abstract

Perilaku ketidakhadiran sekolah pada siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) merupakan permasalahan pendidikan yang berkaitan dengan faktor keluarga dan karakteristik individu serta berimplikasi pada keterlibatan belajar, kedisiplinan, dan keberlanjutan pendidikan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji hubungan dukungan keluarga dan keterlibatan orang tua dengan perilaku ketidakhadiran sekolah pada siswa SMK dengan mengontrol usia dan jenis kelamin. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 282 siswa dari empat SMK di Kecamatan Candisari, Kota Semarang, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan skala dukungan keluarga, skala keterlibatan orang tua, dan skala ketidakhadiran sekolah yang telah diadaptasi sesuai konteks sampel di Indonesia. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi hierarkis setelah memenuhi asumsi analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usia dan jenis kelamin memiliki peran signifikan terhadap perilaku ketidakhadiran sekolah. Setelah variabel demografis dikontrol, dukungan keluarga memberikan kontribusi tambahan yang signifikan terhadap penjelasan varians ketidakhadiran sekolah sebesar 12% (R = 0,57; p < 0,01). Secara spesifik, dukungan keluarga inti, keluarga besar, serta organisasi atau komunitas sosial berkaitan dengan tingkat ketidakhadiran sekolah yang lebih rendah, sedangkan dukungan informal dari teman sebaya berkaitan dengan tingkat ketidakhadiran sekolah yang lebih tinggi. Sebaliknya, keterlibatan orang tua tidak menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan dengan perilaku ketidakhadiran sekolah. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan dukungan keluarga yang hangat, dekat, dan konsisten sebagai faktor protektif dalam menekan perilaku ketidakhadiran sekolah pada siswa SMK.
