Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan project-based assessment berbasis pohon media bimbingan dan konseling sebagai upaya meningkatkan student engagement mahasiswa pada mata kuliah media bimbingan dan konseling semester 3 di Universitas Nggusuwaru. Rendahnya student engagement mahasiswa terlihat pada ketidakhadiran, sering terlambat, dan kurangnya antusias saat pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan project-based assessment berupa pembuatan produk pohon media bimbingan dan konseling mampu meningkatkan student engagement secara behavioral, kognitif, dan emosional. Kebebasan memilih topik dan berkereasi dalam pembuatan pohon media bimbingan dan konseling, mendorong mahasiswa menjadi aktif dalam pembelajaran.
